In Brazil and around the world

The power of one

Our friend Mike Benson wrote today about the power of “One.” History has shown that one person makes a great difference in the world. Because of single individuals great things have been wrought.

Satan would have us despise the small effort we can make or the small gift we can give. By doing so, he manages to cancel out most of the good works by God’s people.

To those who looked with disdain on the rebuilding of the temple, the Lord challenged, “For who dares make light of small beginnings?” (Zechariah 4:10 NET). Not human effort, but the Lord causes temples to rise. And this by the hand of humble folk, with little to begin with. “‘Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord who rules over all” (verse 6).

God specializes in turning a few plain bricks into glorious temples, tapping a spot of oil for fountains of sustenance, multiplying meager supplies of bread and fish to feed a multitude.

GoSpeak is looking for the one. One person, one family, one congregation, to be used by the Lord for great things. One to join forces with us on behalf of the gospel in Brazil and around the world.

Are you that one?

What say you?
