2024: A Challenge and a Pleasure

Vicki and I thank you for your friendship, your many kindnesses, and your prayers and support over this past year. As always, the work is a challenge and a pleasure.
We’re grateful to reach the end of 2024 having worked hard, taught much, and traveled not a little.
IN THE NEWS
¶ Saturday past, the 28th, we had our last men’s meeting for the year, here in our home (last photo, below). Pedro has organized the meetings for the past three years. He asked me to speak. Seven men were present, one was a visitor that Paulo Cesar brought.
¶ I’m sharing the preaching with Pedro in the new North Zone (better to say Northside?) congregation. The 29th I spoke about the present Jesus; three times in the Gospel of Matthew he is said to be present with us: 1.23; 18.20; 28.20. Lessons were drawn to apply to us today.
¶ Christmas morning I did a two-hour radio program with Valdizan. The good participation from listeners (or viewers, since it’s video, too) was surprising, considering the holiday.
¶ Today I defined my theme for 2025: The Year of Salvation. Should I choose Acts 4.12 or 2 Timothy 3.15 as the theme verse? Or do you have a better one? The theme for 2024 was the Year of Truth.
May our God and Father bless each one as you devote yourself “to his Kingdom and his glory” 1 Thessalonians 2.12.
