Teaching up and down
Vicki and I drove two hours to the city of São Vicente, on São Paulo’s south coast, to teach in the local congregation Saturday and Sunday (May 17-18), using my material “The Words of the Faith.” By Saturday night I became very ill and was not able to teach or preach on Sunday. We returned that afternoon, with Vicki driving. I have basically spent a week bedfast.
A non-Christian couple participated on Saturday and returned on Sunday. They found the teaching helpful. We pray they may convert and enter Christ.
I’m still not in top shape, but am making plans to travel next week with Vicki up to Salvador to teach 25+ couples in a special seminar. They changed the date of this annual event just so I could go and teach, so there was no backing out. I'm praying the Lord will give me strength to do a good job of it. Will be Jun. 6-8, held at a retreat center a couple of hours into the interior of the state.
Today I published another issue of our magazine, on the theme, “So Great Salvation.” This issue has 50 pages.
One brother provided feedback: “I printed it out, and I liked the format, attractive, big letters, and good layout, you can read on the bus and subway, the movement does not disturb. It is material that serves forever.”
